Certain types of fat are extremely valuable, and essential to our bodies, despite common myth! Not getting enough fat in our diets can result in any number of the following conditions: Dry scaly skin, hair loss, poor immune function-leading to lower resistance to infection, low body weight, cold intolerance, bruising, poor growth, poor wound healing and loss of menstruation.
